$1.5M UFC star Petr Yan leaves his trainer misty-eyed with a $30,000 surprise outside the gym!



Former UFC champion Petr Yan gifted his trainer a $30,000 van.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan has teamed up with his training partner and ONE FC fighter Anatoly Malykhin to give their head coach a surprise of a lifetime. It should be noted that Yan worked hard to get to this position. With a net worth of around $1.5 million according to UFC Newshe can afford to give such gifts.

The two Russian fighters bought a brand new Ford Ranger pickup thing worth nearly $30,000. And give their head trainer John Hutchinson at their Tiger Muay Thai training center in Phuket, Thailand.

Petr Yan has been working with John Hutchinson for a while now. Additionally, the coach was with Yan in his first title win over Jose Aldo in 2020. Hutchinson later took to Instagram and reacted by being gifted his dream car. He said:

“Today is a crazy day. So grateful for everything in life. @petr_yan @anmalykhin BEST OF THE BEST LET’S GO.”

However, that was not the only message posted by instructor Tiger Muay Thai. He posted another post about it and joked that Petr Yan and Anatoly Malykhin will still be punished if they show up late for their training.

“I’m not the best with Instagram photos. But it’s more like that. 50 burpees so late in the morning LEAVES GUYS BELT TIME. @anmalykhin @petr_yan So grateful.

Can Petr Yan beat Sean O’Malley at UFC 280?

Former UFC champion Petr Yan is set to face Sean O’Malley at UFC 280 next month in October. Although there has been a lot of hype around this fight, many suggest it will be an easy fight for the Russian.

However, while that may be true on paper considering Sean O’Malley has never fought someone like Petr Yan in his career, the fight will likely be anything but easy.
