1) Vitor Belfort

Although he technically never fought for ONE, Belfort was for a brief period a fighter under the ONE banner. Belfort recently made headlines in the boxing world, having beaten 58-year-old heavyweight legend Evander Holyfield in a near-show match earlier this month. While the fight received mixed reviews from fans and the media, it was exciting to see a fit and fight-ready Belfort enter the boxing ring to throw hands.

If selected to fight Jake Paul, he would represent the content creator’s greatest physical opponent to date. Belfort, who fought primarily in the middleweight and light heavyweight, weighed in his game against Holyfield at 206.2 pounds. By comparison, Woodley weighed 189.5 pounds.Belfort has already called Paul. Will the fight take place?

2) Rich Franklin

Crazy, right? Well not really.

The former UFC champion and current ONE Championship vice-president has been pondering some sort of comeback for some time now. So why not make it happen against his less gifted and most profitable opponent to date?

Franklin’s resume says it all with wins over legends like Wanderlei Silva, Chuck Liddell, and Yushin Okami, among others. The Ohio native initially retired with an MMA record of 29-7, earning 19 of those victories by knockout.

While he’s been out of caged action since 2012, booking a fight with Paul is an interesting low-risk proposition for Franklin, not to mention a really fun way to watch Paul lose his senses.

3) Nieky Holzken

Well… if Jake Paul is brave enough, why not? While Holzken would likely have a harder time getting out of bed and making it to the arena than defeating Paul, the fight would still be exciting as long as it lasted.

Holzken has been a professional kickboxer since 2001, when Paul was four years old. During that time, he collected a record 94-16 with 47 knockouts. The 37-year-old is a former Glory Kickboxing and WFCA champion, with a 4-2 ONE Championship record. So if Paul is looking for a dramatic rise in competition, here he is.Holzken recently called on Paul to fight, and fans are certainly interested. It wouldn’t be difficult to do. Oh, and Holzken holds a professional boxing record of 14-1 with 11 KOs. Maybe not the smartest match for the YouTuber. But fun nonetheless.

4) Aung La N Sang

One of the most exciting strikers in all combat sports, Aung La N Sang is an original idea for Jake Paul. In his last fight, “The Burmese Python” weighed 205 pounds, just over Paul’s usual cruiserweight of 190 pounds. If the social media star wants to stop losing weight, the next logical step would be to move up to 205, where Aung La will be waiting for her.

While many fans have leveled harsh criticism at Tyron Woodley for stepping back to Paul after landing a big right hand, it’s safe to assume that Aung La wouldn’t make such a mistake.

The former ONE Light Heavyweight and Middleweight World Champion holds an MMA record of 27-12 with 13 KOs. Most recently, he turned Leandro Ataides off at ONE: BATTLEGROUND, getting a first round knockout.

If Paul decided to dance with the former two-time champion, he would take a huge step forward in competing against a proven winner who has been there, done it. Not to mention, Aung La might have the most dangerous hands in the ONE middleweight division.

5) Northcutt sage

Of all the names on this list, Northcutt might just make the most sense. Pitting the shy “Problem Child” Paul in the ring against one of the healthiest figures in martial arts would be the personality shock fans would love to see.

While Paul made a name for himself by stirring up drama and crossing unspoken boundaries in the eyes of many, Northcutt maintained the innocence and naivety that made him love fighting fans upon his arrival in the fighting community. .

Northcutt’s current MMA record is 11-3, having enjoyed great success throughout his young career. While the hope is to see him back in the circle soon, if the powers of the ONE Championship allow it, a boxing match with Paul could be the wisest decision for Northcutt. Interestingly enough, Sage called Jake’s older brother Logan for a fight a few years ago.
