Anatoly Malykhin mocks Arjan Bhullar with a hilarious chicken doodle on Instagram

Reigning ONE World Heavyweight Champion Arjan Bhullar and the promotion’s interim title holder Anatoly Malykhin are on a collision course for a much-awaited and needed unification showdown.

While no date has been set for the inevitable clash between the two juggernauts, if their social media jabs are any indication, fans will be in for a thrilling showdown when the pair step into the ONE circle.

‘Singh’ recently took to Instagram, mocking the interim titleholder by saying, “I don’t have time for your social media bullshit.” Obviously, Malykhin didn’t get the message.

In his last Instagram post aimed at Bhullar, the Russian fighter posted an image of an animated chicken with Bhullar’s head and the caption:

“A chicken lying stuck in a corner will soon become a chop”

This is just the latest in a series of shots Malykhin has fired at his division rival. Even ONE Championship two-division world champion Reinier de Ridder was kicked off the post, leaving a face with tears of joy emoji in response.

The chicken in the image is a reference to a ONE Championship interview with Malykhin, where he called the Indo-Canadian heavyweight a ‘little baby chicken’.

“[Bhullar] it’s my little chick clinging to the belt that should be mine. He’s not a real champion. He continues to hide from powerful opponents and tries to choose practical opponents. I’m a Russian freestyle wrestling champion, so he won’t be able to surprise me. His strike is very weak, it looks like he is trying to crush a mosquito. People will forget him when I’m done with him.

Arjan Bhullar claims Anatoly Malykhin won’t sign for unification fight

While Anatoly Malykhin has expressed his desire to face Arjan Bhullar in the ONE circle, ‘Singh’ has claimed that the Russian will not sign on the dotted line for a unification bout.

On Instagram, Bhullar called out Malykhin, saying the fight had been moved several times, but still hadn’t signed the showdown.

“I signed a new contract in April. The fight has been moved twice since then. Now the third time we accepted again and he will not sign the papers”

In an interview with ONE Championship, Bhullar reiterated that he is not running from anyone, saying he will fight Anatoly Malykhin on a week’s notice if needed.

“I am not running away from anyone or anyone. He is delusional. And he’s short with short arms and legs. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall. My arms and my legs and my whole body are longer than his. Clearly measured, so I don’t know what the heck this guy is talking about. He needs to have his head checked. I’m back. I’ve wanted to fight the whole time I’ve been away. I want to fight now. I will fight him next week.
