Conor McGregor has two more fights on his UFC contract, says trilogy with Nate Diaz will perform “1 billion percent”

Nate Diaz will always be the guy who inflicted Conor McGregor his first UFC loss in their first fight at UFC 196 in March 2016.

McGregor avenged the loss five months later at UFC 202, defeating Diaz by majority decision. While the two are tied with a win over each other, Diaz finished off McGregor and McGregor couldn’t make it for The ultimate fighter season 5 winner.

Diaz forced McGregor to try and take the fight to the ground when they first met. Once on the ground, Diaz quickly took out the Irishman via a bare rear choke. At their second meeting, McGregor nominated Diaz. A third fight between the two fan favorites seems inevitable, and McGregor agrees.

While answering questions from fans on Twitter, McGregor was asked if we would ever see a trilogy fight with Diaz. McGregor replied, “1 billion percent! A must have! “
