Conor McGregor speaks out after altercation with Machine Gun Kelly on the VMA red carpet | Video
Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor is a lightning rod for controversy. Wherever “The Notorious” goes, the show usually follows. On the VMA’s red carpet Sunday, McGregor had an argument with Machine Gun Kelly. Security had to intervene to prevent McGregor from reaching the artist.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the awards show, McGregor said he didn’t know Machine Gun Kelly and nothing happened.
“I don’t even know the guy to be honest,” McGregor said. “Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people who really fight, you know what I mean,” he continued. “I certainly don’t fight little vanilla rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him except he’s with Megan Fox.
