The inaugural event for the new Global Titans Fight series will take place next month in Dubai, at a quite remarkable venue and featuring some of the hottest names in combat sports. Here are the details.

What?

Global Titans Dubai – the first stop in a new series of fight nights featuring stars from the worlds of boxing and mixed martial arts.

Billed as the world’s first NFT (non-fungible token) pay-per-view sporting event, the tagline reads: “The Showcase in the Sky of Dubai”. It features four boxing bouts, combining both exhibition bouts and a world title clash.

When?

May 14 – from 10 p.m.

The heliport, Burj Al Arab.

Who?

The card is headlined by an exhibition bout between undefeated former five-time world champion Floyd Mayweather (50-0) and “Dangerous” Don Moore, who, like his arch rival, is undefeated (19 professional fights, most recent in 2016).

Bill features another exhibition bout, with retired UFC great Anderson Silva taking on current UAE Warriors lightweight champion Bruno Machado, while former two-time world champion boxer Badou Jack takes on the ‘Egyptian Hany Atiyo.

The night boasts of a world title fight, when former WBC lightweight champion Delfine Persoon competes for another title. The opponent of the Belgian boxer will be confirmed this week.

How to watch in the UAE?

The event is open to a select few – as of Tuesday, organizers say just 10 of the 40 ringside seats remain – but is also available via an exclusive live pay-per-view for ticket holders. NFT tickets.

The NFT ticket includes limited-edition 3D collectibles that can be redeemed, special video content, and official event media.
