Former UFC featherweight to make BKFC debut in February

Mendes will now make his unarmed championship debut on February 19. This will see him end a hiatus of just over three years; his last fight was against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 232.

The UFC veteran posted on Instagram and wrote in the caption –

Although the promotion has yet to make any official announcement of their opponent, addicted to mma reports reveal Mendes will face Joshuah Alvarez at 155. The event is scheduled to take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
