(Versailles, Ind.) – A former WWE Superstar and East Central High School graduate will host an upcoming professional wrestling show in Versailles.
La Malice de Versailles will take place on Saturday February 12 at the Tyson Activity Center. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and tickets for the show are available for $ 10 to $ 25 at www.prowrestlinginversailles.com.
The event will be led by Carlos Colon, Jr., who is best known as former WWE Superstar Carlito.
Colon is a second generation wrestler from the famous Puerto Rican family of wrestlers Colon. His father, Carlos Sr., runs a Puerto Rico-based wrestling promotion called the World Wrestling Council.
In WWE, Colon wrestled as Carlito from 2003 to 2010. During this time, he became a former United States Champion and a former Intercontinental Champion.
At the Malice de Versailles, Colon will wrestle in the main event against VsK from IMPACT Wrestling.
The referee for this match will be Brandon Tolle, a graduate of East Central High School.
Tolle started his professional wrestling career at the age of 18. He trained to be a wrestler while pursuing a degree in music education at Northern Kentucky University. Tolle ultimately decided his path to a wrestling career would be as a referee.
Since then he has worked on several live events, TV recordings and pay-per-views for Dragon Gate Wrestling, Ring of Honor, EVOLVE and IMPACT.
Malice of Versailles will also star Jake Crist (Ring of Honor, IMPACT), Stephen Wolf (EVOLVE), Nevaeh (IMPACT, SHIMMER), Paloma Starr (SHIMMER), Brayden Lee (Indiana Freestyle State Champion, All-American), and more .
