“He doesn’t work there, accepts the package”

Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen thinks YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul should continue the fight event at Madison Square Garden.

Paul was scheduled to fight Hasim Rahman Jr. on August 6 in New York. However, the fight was canceled after “The Problem Child” management claimed that Rahman Jr. was having weight loss issues.

Sonnen thinks Paul should still go ahead with the event even if he doesn’t have an opponent. ‘The American Gangster’ believes that by showing up at the event, the 25-year-old will be doing something different in the boxing world:

“He is [Paul] in a position where he is something else and he can do something else… He has changed all kinds of things. Go ahead, Jack. You haven’t been wrong yet. Play your music, walk over there with your trunks, play it [Rahman Jr.] music, he don’t walk there, accept the package, grab the mic, be a boss. To resume. Do something different… That would be my advice.”

Sean O’Malley has expressed his disappointment at the cancellation of Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr.

One person who was really looking forward to the boxing match between Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. was rising UFC star Sean O’Malley.

In a recent episode of The BrO’Malley Show on YouTube, “Sugar” spoke about the fight being canceled and shared his disappointment about it. O’Malley said he was more excited about this fight than the UFC event taking place the same weekend:

“Jake Paul vs. Rahman Jr…. It’s not happening, crazy fucking shit. It was supposed to be this weekend, August 6th and supposedly the best Rahman couldn’t gain weight at 200 books… It sucks, I was a little excited, I was definitely more excited about it than the UFC this weekend.”
