Indian freestyle wrestlers have won the Asian U-15 Wrestling Championship 2022 held in Bahrain. Indian wrestling team ransacked four gold medals, two silver and one bronze in freestyle wrestling. The action-packed performance of the Indian team won a total of 7 medals.
Previous Indian wrestlers won the U15 Asian Wrestling Championship title with 210 points by winning six gold and 3 silver medals. India clinched a total of 8 medals in the 10 Greco-Roman style weight categories on Saturday. In the Greco-Roman category, Iran won the Asian title with 205 points while India secured 3rd place with 172 points.

Gold was won by Ishwar (44 kg) Ankush (57 kg) Tanishq (62 kg) and Vivek (75 kg). While Salim in FS-52 kg and Badal in FS-85 kg category won the silver medal. Only one bronze medal was won by Nishant in FS-68kg.
