Jake Paul has officially been named the best influencer boxer in the world as he now tops the world rankings ahead of longtime rival KSI and his brother Logan Paul.
As influencer boxing has grown in popularity over the past few years, a few content creators have taken things far beyond the levels they started when YouTubers were just settling their differences at the inside the ring.
Jake Paul has been at the forefront of raising the bar as he has become involved in the professional fighting game, competing against athletes and real fighters.
Considering how he’s sold out arenas and knocked out MMA fighters, the “Problem Child” has always led the way ahead of the top influencer boxer in the eyes of fans. Finally, however, he also achieved official recognition.
Jake Paul voted best boxer influencer in the world
On July 24, the Pro Boxing Association — which sanctions professional and influencer fighting — finally released a ranking list for the influencer side.
Unsurprisingly, Jake leads the PBA World Rankings ahead of long-time rival KSI, who have to settle for second place right now. AnEsonGib, the British compatriot of KSI, is in third place ahead of Austin McBroom and Logan Paul who are fourth and fifth respectively.
FaZe Clan’s Temperrr and Blueface round out the global rankings, with other influencers not ranked at the same level. The likes of Alex Wassabi and Bryce Hall are ranked at a lower tier, which the PBA calls the “international” tier.
Like all other boxing rankings, placements are determined by different factors – including wins, losses, quality of opponent and beyond.
With a few influencer events in August, we could well see some changes in these rankings, especially if Jake loses to Hasim Rahman Jr. and KSI defeats Alex Wassabi. So, we’re going to have to keep an eye on things.
