Jamahal Hill doesn’t think Jan Blachowicz is too difficult to test after his August 6 win over Thiago Santos.
Speak with James Lynch for Sportskeeda MMAHill covered several topics like a potential Jiri Prochazka rematch against Glover Teixeira, the wider state at 205 pounds right now, and more.
In response to some critics claiming he had a cardio problem, Hill said:
“People need to shut up about all this, ‘Oh, Jan [Blachowicz] is it. He is not at Jan’s level, Jan will accept it. Bro, Jan f****** lost to Santos. Santos knocked him out! If I’m not mistaken, he was losing that fight… So he never fought it again after that. He beat Corey Anderson, who is no longer in the UFC. He beat Dominick Reyes after a loss.”
“That’s how he became champion. Then his only title defense was against the smallest f****** 205-er you could possibly fight. [Israel Adesanya]…I respect Jan. Jan is a credible threat. He is definitely one of the best in the world. But every time you talk about comparing me to anybody, bro, I’m comparing myself to any fucking body.”

Jan Blachowicz returned to the win column after losing his light heavyweight belt to Glover Teixeira at UFC 267. Blachowicz defeated UFC No. 4 ranked light heavyweight contender Aleksandar Rakic by TKO injury-based in May during their UFC Fight Night main event battle.
Jamahal Hill is now on a three-fight winning streak following his fourth-round TKO victory in the UFC. His last two previous victories came against Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker, both of which were first-round hitting-based finishes. Hill rebounded from the only loss of his MMA career to Paul Craig at UFC 263 last June.
