Khabib Nurmagomedov gave his opinion on the arrest of his cousin Usman Nurmagomedov in Russia. In particular, ‘The Eagle’ asserted that Usman “must be responsible for his actions.”
At a recent press conference promoting his organization Eagle FC MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov was asked about Usman’s recent car crash and the legal issues that arose out of it. When asked by a reporter about his family’s reaction to the problem and whether he had offered his cousin any advice on how to handle the situation, Khabib said:
“Of course we had conversations. We have them now. The commission of inquiry took care of it. I did not go. I didn’t call anyone. I didn’t ask anyone. Each person must be responsible for their actions. It doesn’t matter if it’s Khabib, or Nagornyi, or someone else, or Usman. I don’t know what to answer you. You know the authorities have made statements. You can find all the information on the web. It is open. Do you mean our family reaction?
Responding to the reporter suggesting that Khabib Nurmagomedov supported and advised Usman Nurmagomedov during this difficult time, Khabib said:
“Yes… Believe me, it is very difficult to resolve a problem with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s commission of inquiry. It’s even difficult to talk to him. The measures were, first, quite severe, second, fair. I don’t think you need to know the details… Thank you.
