Oklahoma Wrestling Head Coach Lou Rosselli announced the addition of five signers for the 2023 recruiting class. All five are ranked in the top 20 of their respective classes.

“Our signatories have a lot of talent,” said the head coach Lou Rosselli said. “I’m excited to bring them here to Norman this summer to start working with them.”

KJ EVANS / HERITAGE HALL / OKLAHOMA CITY / 165 POUNDS

  • No. 15 rookie in the 152-pound weight class

  • Won the OSSAA 152-pound State Championship in 2021 and 2022

  • Placed second in 16U Freestyle at Fargo Freestyle 2021

  • Finished second at United World Wrestling 2022

  • Won first place at National Duals 16U 2021 – Freestyle

  • Completed as an OSSAA State Finalist his freshman year

    Coach Rosselli on Evans:
    “He’s a great local signing,” he said. “He’s won two state titles and is very talented. His talent matches our program and we’re thrilled that KJ is a Sooner.”
