Psyonix announced a brand new upcoming collaboration Rocket league because they teamed up with BMW to bring a new car. The stylish number you see below is the BMW M240i, which will be added to the game for a limited time starting Thursday, November 4. It will come with all of the car’s design and sounds, but like every other car in the game, it’s all cosmetic. Owning the BMW will not give you any advantage in the game other than the prestige you set out to achieve it. This collaboration will also allow BMW to join forces with Rocket league Esports as one of the main sponsors of a regional Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), as well as the introduction of the BMW Freestyle Tournament. We have more information on the new car below and you can watch a video at the bottom.
The stylish BMW M240i will be available in the Item Shop before being available to real-world consumers, and comes complete with the BMW M240i wheels, the Thundernight metallic sticker, the United In Rivalry animated sticker, the Bavarian hat and BMW player banner. The BMW M240i will be available for 1,100 credits from November 4 to 10.
BMW will also be the title sponsor of the BMW Rocket league Open, which is the second regional tournament of the 2021-22 RLCS European circuit, will take place from November 5 to 7. Before the best EU RLCS teams face off in the BMW Rocket league Open, 16 of the best in the world Rocket league freestylers were invited to participate in the two-day knockout tournament, the BMW Freestyle Tournament, for a chance to win a portion of a $ 25,000 prize pool. The first day of competition will take place on November 4 and will end after the second semi-final of the BMW Rocket league Opening on November 7. The bmw Rocket league The Open and BMW Freestyle tournaments can be watched live on Twitch.
