And recent reports suggest the main event will be a heavyweight battle between Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa.

UFC reporter Al Zullino had earlier confirmed that the UFC was planning an event in Paris on September 3, 2022. However, recent updates not only confirm the event but also the headliner fight.

Former UFC interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane last fought in January when he lost the title fight to Francis Ngannou. Gane is a top fighter for the UFC and it only makes sense that he would headline the premier event in his home country.
Following an initial report from @arielhelwani I was able to confirm that Ciryl Gane x Tai Tuivasa has been targeted as the main event for the UFC’s first-ever French event, which will take place in Paris on September 3.

He will face Australian Tai Tuivasa who is on a streak of 5 consecutive victories. Notably, ‘Bam Bam’ won all of those fights via knockout. His recent victory came in February 2022 when he knocked out Derrick Lewis in the second round.
It is expected to be an epic battle between UFC No. 1 and No. 3 ranked heavyweights Gane and Tuivasa, respectively. Both fighters have training in Muay Thai, which makes the fight even more exciting.
