UFC Fight Night 202 post-event facts: Islam Makhachev continues to dominate

The UFC wrapped up its busy February schedule on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 202 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Islam Makhachev (22-1 MMA, 11-1 UFC) continued his sporting assent in the main event when he won a first-round TKO of Bobby Green (29-13-1 MMA, 10-8 -1 UFC) in the 160-pound catchweight contest.

Wellington Turman defeated. Micha Cirkunov

Misha Cirkunov’s (15-8 MMA, 6-6 UFC) three-fight losing slip is the longest of his career. He hasn’t won a win since September 2019.

Cirkunov is down to 0-2 since moving to the UFC middleweight division in October 2021.

Cirkunov is down to 2-6 in his last eight UFC appearances since May 2017.

Cirkunov has suffered seven of his eight career losses by stoppage.

Priscila Cachoeira defeats. Ji Yeon Kim

Kim (9-5-2 MMA, 3-5 UFC) is down to 3-4 since moving to the UFC’s flyweight division in January 2018.

Kim has suffered all five of her career losses by decision.

Arman Tsarukyan defeats. Joel Alvarez

Tsarukyan’s five-fight winning streak (18-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) at lightweight is tied for the fourth-longest active streak in the division behind Charles Oliveira (10), Makhachev (nine) and Beneil Dariush (seven).

Joel Alvarez (19-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) has suffered two of his three career losses by stoppage.

Alvarez suffered both of his career stoppage losses by knockout.

Armen Petrosyan defeats. Gregory Rodrigues

Armen Petrosyan (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) picked up the first decision victory of his career.

Ignacio Bahamondes defeated. Rong Zhu

Ignacio Bahamondes (13-4 MMA, 2-1 UFC) earned the first submission victory of his career.

Rong Zhu (18-5 MMA, 1-2 UFC) has suffered four of his five career losses by stoppage.

Zhu suffered all four of his career stoppage losses by submission.

Terrance McKinney beats. Ziam prices

Jonathan Martinez (15-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) has earned four of his six UFC wins by decision.

Micheal Gillmore (5-5 MMA, 0-2 UFC) has suffered all five of his career losses by stoppage.

Gillmore has suffered four of his five career losses by submission.
