Leavitt, now 2-0 in the UFC, would face Claudio Puelles for his third fight. Sadly, that’s where his winning streak would end as Leavitt lost the bot by unanimous decision.

Sayles has also made his presence felt in the UFC, following a massive victory in the contenders’ series. Sayles faced a very unorthodox striker in Yazan Hajeh for his first fight. Undeterred by Hajeh’s kicks, Sayles walked through, landing straight at the end of the first round to end the fight.

However, that would be the peak of his career so far in the UFC, as he would lose his next 2 out of 3 fights. Meeting Sheymon Moraes in his debut ended up being detrimental to Sayles as he would lose a decision against him. . Bouncing back, Sayles defeated Kyle Nelson by submission in the third round of his second fight at the UFC, to meet Bruce Mitchell in the third fight. Mitchel iconically submitted Sayles via tornado.

Jordan Leavitt vs Matt Sayles: analysis and prediction.

Both fighters just lost in their last UFC performances. which means these two people are desperate for a win. This fight, however, is a clash of classic MMA styles between a striker and a grappler.

Leavitt is a very creative fighter with a heavy grappling style. He’ll be looking to defeat Sayles at the start of the fight, land and hammer and maybe end the fight by submission.

Sayles is a very sharp forward with excellent kickboxing skills. He throws his shots directly into the barrel and lands with great power. Sayles is a very calm and composed fighter and is very rarely overwhelmed.

However, he has been shot in the past and his defense against withdrawal is not foolproof. If Leavitt can avoid a long battle at the feet, there’s a good chance he can defeat Sayles and finish the fight.
