And now brawlers aren’t even allowed to show the flag on clothing.

MMA ace Trizano was one of those affected by the flag ban in May because he has always flown an American flag.

Since then, he has taken to wearing a hat sporting red, white and blue.

But Trizano received bad news before last night defeat Seungwoo Choi at UFC 281.

He claims sports beaks informed him that he was no longer allowed to wear his colorful hat…on Veterans Day.

The news was announced ahead of Trizano’s weigh-in on Friday.

And the fighter called the verdict “ridiculous”, especially considering the day it was announced.

Trizano said, “You know I always go out with my American cowboy flag and my cowboy hat.

“I had it in the bag during the weigh-ins and they came up to me and said, ‘You can’t wear that.

“I was like, ‘What are you talking about, I wear this every time.

“It’s never a problem, it’s not like I go out with the flag, because they have this whole thing without a flag now.

“They told me I couldn’t go out with my American flag hat right before the weigh-ins and told me that because it had a flag on it, I couldn’t wear it.

“I was like, ‘Are you going to take my American flag hat off me on Veterans Day? Of all the days you’re going to take it off me, is that that day?

“It has to come from above, I don’t blame anyone, but I think it’s a bit ridiculous.”
