UFC star Conor McGregor turns baseball player, throws awkward first pitch at Chicago Cubs game


UFC sensation Conor McGregor is known for his fiery left hand in the ring, but recently he almost took a fan down with his left hand strike and for a change it wasn’t the Octagon but a baseball diamond.

On Tuesday, the Irish mixed martial artist threw the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Chicago Cubs vs. Minnesota Twins baseball game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill.. As the former UFC champion put his baseball skills to the test, he couldn’t find his rhythm when it came to performing them as he threw the ball with all his might.

Chicago Cubs player Patrick Wisdom helplessly waiting to receive the pitch watched the ball pass over his head as the fighter’s pitch landed inches from the fans who were seated in the front row and thankfully nothing nothing untoward has happened.

Earlier this month, Conor McGregor Machine rapper Gun Kelly was involved in an altercation during the red carpet of the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The incident happened on the red carpet of the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards and according to reports from TMZ, Conor McGregor asked Machine Gun Kelly for a photo which he declined. However, things didn’t end there as “MGK” reportedly pushed the MMA icon, as things only got worse from there. The mixed martial artist tripped back and ended up spilling his drink as well. An enraged Conor McGregor then threw his drink at the rapper, and the two almost came to blows. Once Conor McGregor spilled his drink on Machine Gun Kelly, the duo were almost embroiled in a brawl, and the two had to be separated by security officials before the situation got out of hand.
