UFC Star Paddy Pimblett talks about his favorite part of training


Paddy Pimblet recently revealed his favorite aspect of working out.

‘The Baddy’ was recently in conversation with the UFC legend Forrest Griffin on the latest edition of his Chattin Pony Podcast. Speaking of sparring, both fighters admitted it was their favorite part of training.

Pimblett thinks there’s “nothing better than punching yourself in the face”, saying:

“Nothing better than getting punched in the face. There’s nothing better…I’ll be honest, that’s my favorite part…the fight.”

The Liverpudlian made his UFC debut in 2021 against Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night 191. “The Baddy” earned a stunning first-round knockout victory over the Brazilian. Pimblett is currently undefeated and on a three-fight winning streak in the promotion, with his last two wins by submission.

The 27-year-old is next scheduled to fight Jared Gordon in a lightweight matchup at UFC 282. The event is scheduled for Dec. 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Although Paddy Pimbeltt was quite exceptional in his fights, his exorbitant weight gains between fights were a hot topic of discussion.

Addressing the issue, lifestyle influencer Brian Johnson, popularly known as ‘Liver King’, has a solution to the Liverpudlian’s weight management issues.

Johnson suggested “The Baddy” should include nutrient-dense foods like liver, bone marrow, and [drumroll please] testicles in its diet.

Talk to Inner fight in a recent interview, the Liver King said:

“Liver, testicles and bone marrow! I can’t tell you how many people have started eating liver, testicles and it’s so much easier to control satiety, then they kick ass with their meager mass all year.”
