Kamaru Usman on forming a UFC-fighters association UFC apex Usman has taken a serious look at the problem beef and fighters have with their UFC salary and health insurance.

“It’s a lot harder to be able to organize something like that when it’s an individual sport…A basketball team might say, ‘Yo, six of us aren’t playing on this. ‘ They have to close the game.”

“We can’t do that because when you say, ‘You know what, I want to be that guy, I want to be the leader, you stand up.’ Guess what? It’s number two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten that’s ready to step in and take your place. Because they know they’re going to have more chips than you than they have right now. So right now it’s almost impossible to be able to get up and do that.
