Fights to watch at UFC 268
As mentioned above, UFC 268 has two title fights in the welterweight and strawweight divisions that serve as the card’s marquee matches. However, the event is also littered with some exhilarating undercard fights.
The main one is the light fight between Michael Chandler and Justin Gaethje. Both men have just won some failed title shots and are looking to get back to the winning column. Gaethje is known for essentially only appearing in thrilling fights, while Chandler’s two-fight UFC career so far has made him an instant fan favorite.
Another fight that certainly deserves some attention is the middleweight drop between former champion Luke Rockhold and rising contender Sean Strickland. Rockhold has been away for a long time. This left many fans wondering if he would attempt to mount another title race or if he would just play the role of keeper.
It’s also worth noting that there will be two newbies who are expected to have huge success in the UFC featured on UFC 268. Former Cage Warriors welterweight champion Ian Garry will make his UFC debut. against Jordan Williams, while former Glory kickboxer Alex Pereira will face Andreas Michailidis.
